Terms of Service & Professional Engagement
Clear, transparent guidelines governing our financial modeling, business planning, monthly bookkeeping administration, and CIPC secretarial services.
1. Scope of Professional Services
Mitrend Accounting Services provides strategic financial modeling, bank-ready business plans (SEFA, NEF, IDC, Commercial Banks), Information Memorandums (IM), monthly bookkeeping administration, CIPC company secretarial filings, and SME Cloud ERP setups.
2. Professional Practice Boundaries
Mitrend Accounting Services operates as a professional financial modeling, management accounting, and corporate secretarial consultancy. We do not provide statutory audits, independent reviews, or legal opinions. Where formal tax advisory or certified statutory audit sign-offs are required, we collaborate with or refer clients to licensed registered auditors and tax practitioners.
3. Client Data Accuracy & Warranties
The accuracy of all financial models, business plans, and management accounts is contingent upon the completeness and veracity of the operational records and financial data provided by the client. The client warrants that all submitted bank records, contracts, and turnover figures are authentic and accurate.
4. Fixed-Fee Retainers & Payment Terms
Once-off projects (Business Plans, IMs, Financial Models, CIPC filings) are billed on agreed fixed-fee milestones. Monthly bookkeeping administration retainers are invoiced monthly in advance on agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
5. Intellectual Property & File Deliverables
Upon full settlement of project fees, the client retains 100% ownership and intellectual property of all final deliverables, including unlocked, editable Microsoft Excel financial forecast models (.xlsx) and publication-grade PDF documents.
